Community Work & Recognition
At Stern & Curray, community involvement, both locally and nationally, is an important component of who we are. Our attorneys work with many non-profits, charities and U.S. legal organizations, and have garnered awards for our commitment to our community and our profession.
Our attorneys volunteer for the Immigration Task Force of the Colorado Lawyers Committee, which oversees the Immigrant Resource Center (IRC) in Alamosa, Colorado. The IRC provides immigration services to low-income individuals in need of legal assistance. Emily Curray has chaired the task force for many years. Ken Stern is the founder and chair of the Committee for Balanced Legal Careers, a committee of the Colorado Bar Association.
